If the job you have isn’t the job you want, going to work can be a struggle. When you can’t imagine any alternative job you would like to do, you can become trapped in doing what you’ve always done. At Career Ferocious, we don’t use personality assessments as a solution. Your coaches will guide you through a precision, “experiential-based” approach to mine what matters. Once that is done, your coaches will help you identify, prioritize and choose a more rewarding path.
The shock of a job being eliminated as a result of a global shift can create paralyzing fear about any career alternative. “How can I guarantee that the next job I choose won’t also be eliminated?” There is no guarantee. At Career Ferocious we don't believe in job security, but we do believe in employment stability. In our 2-on-1 coaching sessions, you will be guided over the mental roadblocks that are in your way. In the career selection process, we will work together to identify other types of work you might quickly shift to if your next opportunity is ever eliminated. Furthermore, we provide labour market data, including a forecast for the field you are considering.
You overcame the learning curve, are seen as competent and good at your job, but don’t feel as challenged or energized as you had been. Feeling that a job is boring can be the last step to hating it. The time to act is now. Before giving up, figure out how to upcycle your job. Gain clarity to define what has changed and what could be added to improve your experience in your role. By the end of our process, you will have a new framework to present your “refresh” strategy. This works best when clients currently have a positive reputation with their supervisor and colleagues.
