I hate writing and could never figure out how to make my cover letters stand out because it just seemed like I was repeating what I’d put in my resume. Career experts took over the task and showed me how to boost the content to make me sound much more interesting.

Cover Letters

A well-written cover letter is a precision document that conveys clearly what you are applying to, and why. Next, it reports the most aligned business outcomes that you have produced that make you a relevant potential hire. Following those facts, the letter asserts clearly the business outcomes you will most influence if chosen for the role. Remember, employers hire people, not just skills! Last, the letter invites follow-up contact.

What people don’t realize is that all cover letters are not reviewed. Usually only cover letters of shortlisted candidates get reviewed to help rank the top two or three. Though cover letters have fallen out of fashion with candidates, employers do continue to use them; but why? Employers value strong competition.

Making yourself sound professional and more interesting than your competition takes skill. Career Ferocious Coaches have fine-tuned that skill!
